Dish Multi Sport Package Blackouts
There's a lot of discussion about what's blacked out
in the Dish Network Multi Sport Package. You know, if you don't buy
the package, those games are blacked out anyway, so it's not like

*For college sports blackouts, the rule of thumb
is that anything that's
available as part of a PPV package will be blacked out on the RSNs.
That includes conference games that are available as
part of a PPV package in some other part of the country. There are a few exceptions but,
hey, that's why I call it a rule of thumb.
**NBA TV is also available with the "Everything" Pack, which
includes AT180 plus all the movie channels, but not the Sports Pack.
And a big your mileage may vary (YMMV) because the blackouts can change from year to year.
My advice is to go to an online TV listing service (I use Excite for
this) and choose all the RSNs you'd get with the sports pack. Then
browse around from day to day and see exactly what's on. Only you can
decide whether it's worth the money to you.
